Embodying the disappointments with the direction contemporary Hip Hop was taking, ONE (emcee) believed he had something to offer the world. He decided to experiment with his friends, blending conscious rhymes with jazz undertones, creating a sound to be thought-provoking, family-friendly, and entertaining at the same time.
These alchemy compositions derived from the guidelines that people deserved higher standards of lyrics and music, in which ONE's sound improves and expands social harmony, positive mindset, and uplifts the soul of the people.

During his career, ONE has had the great fortune of sharing the stage with artists like Anthony Hamilton, Charlie Wilson, Eniko, L.L. Cool J., Lyfe Jennings, MC Lyte, Chrisette Michelle, BBD, Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson, the late Chuck Brown, and others. Supported by his band (The Band Belief), ONE’s collective efforts were rated the preferred group for Rock The Vote Campaign, through which they rallied the youth across various universities to register themselves as voters during the 2009 presidential elections.

In 2009 when Jay-Z and Russell Simmons were rallying for President Obama's campaign, The Band Belief was selected to perform for the audience and was the opening act before the legends of Hip Hop addressed the crowd. ONE and his band (The Band Belief) have been featured as special guests for Jeff Robinson’s (MBKEntertainment) annual music showcase in North Carolina.
Do to his lyrical content, ONE has been selected by organizations and schools to perform and mentor children from grades 1-12, proving to the students that you don’t have to degrade yourself or anyone else to be a Hiphop artist.
